Edimax Technology today announced the availability of its nMax solutions; a new networking product line based on the IEEE 802.11n draft 2.0 standard. The Edimax nMax series consists of a wireless broadband router (BR-6504n), card bus (EW-7708Pn), PCI card (EW-7728In) and a USB adapter (EW-7718Un).

Based on the draft 11n standard, the nMax solutions offer data transmission rates up to 300Mbps and a significantly increased wireless coverage. The MEDIAGATE MG-35 is a high-performance Digital Media Adapter. At its most basic level, it is an external USB enclosure with media playback capability that lets users fit in a 3.5" HDD. Users are free to choose the brand and capacity of HDD they want to install.

The MEDIAGATE MG-35 supports and plays back most of the commonly-used file formats. It can also be hooked up to TVs and stereo systems with ease. Interface cables come supplied with the kit.
